BREAKING: Russia warns Ukraine against derailing humanitarian convoy

by The Daily Lede

Russia has warned against any disruption to it’s attempts at delivering humanitarian aid to the people of east Ukraine after President Poroshenko confirmed in a phone call with Britain’s PM David Cameron that a column of Russian vehicles were destroyed by Kiev forces after having entered into the region.

Russia has denied any of it’s vehicles had entered Ukrainian territory, claiming that armored vehicles spotted along the border were a unit of border guards patrolling the area.

As a result, Britain has summoned the Russian ambassador Alexander Yakovenko to clarify the allegations and the EU has stated it is ready to consider further steps against Russia.
