President Obama spoke Thursday addressing the nation on the unrest plaguing Ferguson, Missouri following the shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown on Saturday by a Ferguson police officer.

The president urged for peace and calm and stated that there was ‘no excuse’ for excessive police force.
