Poroshenko dismisses Ukrainian military logistics personnel

Ukraine’s President Poroshenko has ordered Defense Minister Valeriy Heletei to dismiss two military leaders responsible for logistics support and arms purchases from ministry departments.

No explanation was given for the dismissals, but the news comes on the heels of the arrival of 12 US military personnel in Kiev to aid in the investigation of flight MH17.

The US team will not visit the crash site but will remain in Ukraine’s capital to help with special operations, communications, and logistics.
